After a little de-greasing I got it re-blued and had the stock polished. I’ve worn out magazines for it, been advised a number of times to replace the barrel too.
Maybe a few better features too…maybe. (sorry, I don’t know my rifle terminology.
Just handed down my fathers Winchester .22 Model 74 made in 1948 to my great grandson. The front end guard is checkered for good grip. The receiver contains bolt and trigger mechanism.
